Let’s get to work
It’s not enough to know what you can do; you also have to do it
Businesses can spend a lot of money on consulting work that doesn’t drive results. It doesn’t have to be that way. Jennifer not only creates the strategy you need, she provides the action to get it accomplished.
You work with the person who finds solutions and implements them.
Small business successes
Here are a few of the outcomes Jennifer has worked with business owners and organizational leaders to achieve
Elevating a Revenue Opportunity
- A business owner had several sources of revenue, with one area performing at a lower level than what he thought was possible. In reviewing the actions to date, we developed a strategy that changed how that area of business was communicated to customers, which allowed us to connect to new audiences, that provided word of mouth to additional potential customers.
A Side Hustle to Full-Time Business
- A client had built a strong side hustle and wanted to expand the business to support her family. Having tried to emulate larger brands, she was frustrated with the lack of success and zero growth. We found a niche opportunity that provided the necessary income and led to two expansion opportunities.
Changing Public Opinion
- A development project deemed controversial by the media was making it difficult for a client to secure important partnerships. We put a plan together that focused on core issues of importance to the whole community, resulting in a complete reversal in public opinion and the development becoming a community champion.
Hiring a Key Team Member
- A professional services firm needed to hire a key leader, however, being a small firm, they felt they couldn’t compete with what larger organizations were offering. We worked on a strategy to highlight their strengths and position them positively in the marketplace, resulting in a better-than-expected hire.
Addressing Competitor Tactics
- A client became the target of a zealous competitor trying to win business by using distasteful tactics. Initially wanting to combat the claims in a public way, we opted instead to “take the high road” in a communications campaign that resulted in maintaining the business customers, and making the business more attractive to the competitor’s customers. This led to a multi-year growth pace for the client.
